Try a backer of your own choice!  You don't have to use ours.  Make a frame.  Incorporate the hummingbirds and flowers into another project you have in the works.

As built, this project is 17" wide, 12" high.

These birds, caught in flight, is an easy beginner intarsia project.  Change the stain colors to your liking, or even use paints for a pop.  Full size patterns for all pieces.
